Data Blocks

If you are close to or have exceeded your data limit, you may purchase a Data Block to 'top-up' your quota and use your connection at full speed.

We have a large range of affordable Data Block options to choose from, which will suit every user.

Data Blocks work in a similar way to a prepaid phone, where if you run out of usage you can 'top-up' to continue to use the service as you were before you reached your limit. You may choose to add a Data Block to your Peak or Offpeak Limit (if applicable).

Things To Know

 

  • All prices on this page include GST.
  • Only download data is calculated, upload data is now free!
  • 30 days notice of cancellation is required in writing.
  • Starter plans are ineligible to change to an "Excess" plan.
  • Above “bundled” pricing is only valid to full service (local and long distance) phone customers. If you are out of contract, and no longer a full service phone customer you will be shifted to the same “stand alone” ADSL Broadband plan.
  • Connection speeds may vary due to many factors.
  • Existing ADSL customers may change speeds and plans throughout and after their contract (excludes 20000/1000), as of next billing month with no extension of that contract. Should a speed change be required, a once off fee of $33 applies.
  • If you upgrade to ADSL2+ (20000/1000) from 256/512/1500 or 8000 within the first 6 months of your minimum term, a fee of $99.00 is applicable. A new 12 month minimum contract term applies.
  • If you upgrade to ADSL2+ (20000/1000) from 256/512/1500 or 8000 after the first 6 months of your minimum term, and you are still within your minimum term, a fee of $49.00 is applicable. A new 12 month minimum contract term applies.
  • If you upgrade to ADSL2+ (20000/1000) from 256/512/1500 or 8000 outside of your minimum term a fee applies equal to a new service "Activation Fee (Existing Service (Transfer))". A new contract term will apply determined by your choice of Activation Fee (You must select at least a 12 month contract as a new minimum term of 12 months will apply).
  • If you downgrade from ADSL2+ (20000/1000) to 256/512/1500 or 8000 within the first 6 months of your minimum term, a fee of $99.00 is applicable. A new 12 month minimum contract term applies.
  • If you downgrade from ADSL2+ (20000/1000) to 256/512/1500 or 8000 after the first 6 months of your minimum term, and you are still within your minimum term, a fee of $49.00 is applicable. A new 12 month minimum contract term applies.
  • If you downgrade from ADSL2+ (20000/1000) to 256/512/1500 or 8000 outside of your minimum term a fee applies equal to a new service "Activation Fee (Existing Service (Transfer))". A new contract term will apply determined by your choice of Activation Fee (You must select at least a 12 month contract as a new minimum term of 12 months will apply).
  • Customers may upgrade from the Starter plan however may not downgrade to it.
  • If you wish to downgrade your 20000/1000 plan (to a plan of lesser value and/or included data) there is a fee of $20 for each downgrade. If you are currently receiving any discounts or promotions you will lose them on downgrade.
  • Download quota is the amount of data you may download in any given month. Any unused data is forfeited at the end of that billing month. For the purpose of calculation, 1GB = 1000MB.
  • Applications which are cancelled after processing has commenced, but before the order has been submitted to our wholesaler are subject to a fee of $100. Cancellation requests received after the order has been lodged with our wholesaler will be subject to standard cancellation fees and conditions.
  • Early disconnection fees apply ($300 pro-rata for Jump Network ADSL, $149 pro-rata for Jump Network Telephony). For example, if you cancel your contract 9 months into a 12 month contract may have to pay a termination fee of $300 x 3/12 (where 3 is the number of months left to run on the contract, divided by 12 months) = $75 (for each relevant service). ADSL Customers with contracts prior to 9/02/2007 cancelling within initial contract term require pay out of contract.
  • If you cancel the Service before the minimum Term ends, you must pay back any discounts or special offers you received to sign up for that Term.
